Doublevision

Is it the fact that I'm a Gemini that makes me so indecisive. My mind flips back and forth between pursuits. Which direction do I go? One side says business owner another side says tattoo artist. They can fall in a similar realm but for some reason seem different. I desire to help and provided a service that empowers those to heal themselves, considering a wellness/float center. Which can expand to offer much more to the community and involve arts. The other hand I see tattooing as an expression. I have a desire to create art and enjoy taking ideas and creating images. After getting the necessary experience I can start my own shop in my home town or near by, as well as, travel and always have a skill set to support myself and family. But why not both. Things I read and listen to say if you want to be great pick something and commit to it. But then again the indecisiveness seeps back into my mind hindering decisions. Do I give myself too much free reign to make up my mind? I have a general direction, but is that good enough to stumble onto a found desire? I also juggle the idea of travel. Wanting to take off a month or more, depending on things, to gather myself and find that which dwells inside dying to break out to be expressed. Which way do I go? Can it all be incorporated? The troubles of today leave us with so many options and the idea we must maximize life, but when does it become too much to handle? When does it become a hindrance? Could this struggle be an example of self obsession?

Rough Weekend

This weekend 02-21-15 has been consumed by the event of having to euthanize my wife's family dog of 15 years. It was an intense experience. Bergie had gotten to the point where he couldn't take care of himself anymore. His hind end had succumbed to old age, giving out, and arthritis. Sadly his body was giving up before his will. Bergie was the damn lovingest dog. It was terribly sad to see such a good soul leave. My wife and I share some great moments when we were welcomed to her parent's house by Bergie's ecstatic tail wagging and warmth. His large noggin lapped up the love we were craving to dish out. I loved his thick big ears and the plush nape of his neck. Bergie is a handsome dog and seeing him you would be itching to go give him a good petting.  Scratching behind his ears was his favorite spot and it was fun to get him to sneeze after. He's a big teddy bear and always seemed to know how to cheer you up. Bergie will be greatly missed. He will always hold a place in our hearts.

Dollar for the Blind

Another day another dollar, catch phrase to those who I thought sought and found their goal of life. But is it just another day? is it just another dollar? Do you enjoy that which you've sought? Or is it another fleeting thought? What boat do you charter that differs from mine? I seek beyond that set limitations bound by those before I. Is what I seek plausible cause to leap? The path that seems so right yet so wrong. How is one to deal when cards are dealt? Ones I think to look up to have flaws but facets to expound upon. Does that dollar earn back thy lively expenses? We spend too much time in that we do not enjoy, but only to demand reward. Is that life worth living? The demands so high one may or may not strive. Its an honest truth to be asked of the self which direction to go. Only deeper inner space will show. Do we fill life or is life already full? Just a blind seeker.

Dachau

Standing in a gas chamber is a very eerie thing. During a tour we were taken throughout Dachau and told of the horrors that took place. Its unimaginable when standing there to comprehend the trials and tribulations individuals had to withstand. When we reached the showers / gas chamber it was just something else. Its difficult to explain. I don't know if its my ignorance or what, but most people walked through quite quickly. I on the other had went through slowly just imagining what had occurred. Everyone had moved to the next area but I basked in the strange setting. All one could see was a hatch where the gas canisters were dropped in. Little to no light would show once doors were closed. I felt I had to absorb the situation. I backed into a corner and my mind just couldn't comprehend things. It leaves me speechless. When thinking back a chord is struck and tears pool in my eyes. The insanity of it all resonates within me.

We must never forget those who were lost. WWII was a terrible ordeal, yet so much can be learned.

Numero Uno!

Laying down my first blog entry to get things started. Since completing my bachelors degree with a focus in health sciences and a minor in psychology and art, I have gained knew insight into the driving factors in my life. While attending college I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Europe, spending a month in Paris, and a few days in Innsbruck, and a few days in Munich. Not only did I get to visit many art galleries but was able to expand my world view. It may have dawned on me that there was so much more to life. Getting just a glimpse to the world out there has drastically change my perception. Although this was not instantaneous over the years after I have began to reevaluate my direction in life. Other contributing factors are meditation and psychedelics. I have a passion to create and provided something for the world. I want to contribute to life. I'm exploring a new creative journey and want to share my experiences and ideas.

I'm in a major process of changing habits and getting on the right path. Using the 67 Steps compiled by Tai Lopez, I have been rewired in a way. The steps really helped steer me towards reading more, seeking mentors, and self educating. Its shocking to think back on school and that influences that shaped our present being. We were poorly educated, unless you had your wits to turn towards self education. Reflecting back I see that I was following a path set by someone else. I was doing something that others thought I should, since I was said to be smart. So many fallacies start to surface going through the 67 Steps. We have been programed and hardwired by so many different sources to be led astray. The true nature of your path needs to be discovered by one's self.

I finally finished my degree and went into a general field thinking to advance and do great things, but my view began to shift. The stresses really got to me. I had burnt myself out working all over the place. A breaking point was reached. Everything just got to me and dug deep. Ive seen things and done things I'm not proud of, but shape the way I am today. I've also had some amazing experiences, but still lies that question of what do I want to do with my life? I thought of being a doctor, a nurse, a physician assistant, an artist, a intellect, traveler, who knows. My mind has been flip flopping all over the place. Ive now chosen a new path combining art and holistic healing.
